Frequently Asked Questions

I've never had a massage before. What should I do?
That's great! I love working with first-time clients. Arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete some paperwork and use the bathroom. Before we begin, we'll have a brief consultation to discuss your goals for the session and go over what to expect.

During the session, I typically start with you face down, working on your legs, hips/glutes, and back. Then I’ll flip you over and work on the legs, arms, and finish with your neck. Afterward, remember to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

What is massage therapy?
Massage therapy is a hands-on technique that manipulates the body’s soft tissues, helping to relax tired, sore muscles. It can be used for general relaxation and wellness or to target specific aches and pains.

Do I need to get completely undressed?
No, you should only undress to your comfort level. Most clients leave their underwear on. You will be covered with a sheet at all times, except for the area I am working on. You will never be fully exposed.

What types of massages do you offer?
I offer a range of services, including:

  • Swedish (relaxation)

  • Therapeutic (deep tissue)

  • Prenatal massage

  • Scar tissue release

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, I offer gift cards. Currently, they are available for purchase in-house, and I accept cash or check.

How do I schedule an appointment?
You can call or text me directly using the number provided, send a message via Messenger, or use the "Book Now" button to schedule through my online system. I’m available on Vagaro for easy booking.

What if I can't handle Deep Tissue?
Deep tissue massage often gets confused with deep pressure. Deep tissue focuses on deeper muscle layers, and the intensity is adjusted to your comfort level. The goal is to achieve the "hurts-so-good" feeling without pushing too far. Too much pressure can actually be counterproductive.

Do people always stay awake during the massage?
Not always, and that’s completely okay! If you drift off and start snoring, it just means you're deeply relaxed and getting a little power nap in.

What if I don’t feel like talking?
No problem at all! It’s your time, and I’ll follow your lead. If you prefer silence, we can keep conversation to just what’s necessary for your comfort, like checking if the pressure is okay.

Do we have to listen to spa music?
Not at all! While I usually have a calming piano playlist on, you’re welcome to request something different. Some clients like to listen to rock music, audiobooks, or even true crime podcasts during their session.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, credit card, and checks.
